Palak Panir


 Palak panir is very healthy because it is made with palak and panir. These both are full with protein and mineral. We can make it in our dinner and serve with chapati. It's really tasty. We should keep this in our diet. It good for blood pressure.

Cooking Time: 45 minutes

Ingredients

For  palak paste:
  1. 5 cup water
  2. 1 bunch palak / spinach
  3. 1 inch ginger
  4. 1 clove garlic
  5. 3 green chilli
other ingredients:
  1. 3 tsp oil
  2. 1 tsp butter
  3. 11 cube paneer / cottage cheese
  4. 1 tsp cumin / jeera
  5. 1 inch cinnamon
  6. 4 cloves
  7. 2 pod cardamom / elachi
  8. 1 bay leaf / tej patta
  9. 2 tsp kasuri methi / dry fenugreek leaves
  10. ½ onion (finely chopped)
  11. ½ tomato (finely chopped)
  12. ¼ cup water
  13. ¾ tsp salt
  14. ¼ tsp garam masala
  15. 2 tbsp cream / malai

Preparation

Step 1

take blanched palak, 1 inch ginger, 1 clove garlic and 4 green chilli. blend to smooth paste without adding any water. keep aside. 

Step 2

now in a large pan heat 3 tsp oil, 1 tsp butter and roast the spices till it turns aromatic. further, add ½ onion and saute till it turns golden brown.
Additionally, add ½ tomato and saute till the tomatoes turn soft and mushy. add prepared palak paste, ¼ cup water and ¾ tsp salt. mix well adjusting consistency as required. further, add roasted paneer and mix well.

Step 3

simmer for 5 minutes or till paneer absorbs flavour. turn off the flame and add ¼ tsp garam masala, 1 tsp kasuri methi and 2 tbsp cream. mix well. your palak panir is ready.
finally, serve restaurant-style palak paneer with roti or naan.
