Protein ladu


An energy ball is very beneficial for health and weight loss. I try this recipe during this lockdown. that time I consume more junk and gain unnecessary calories. keeping all these in mind, I feel I should share you with a healthy no sugar, no ghee, or oil dessert snack recipe made with seeds and dry fruits. you may also call these energy balls or protein balls or even protein ladoo as it supplies all the required nutrients and thus satisfies the hunger. basically, you would feel full and consume less junk which eventually helps with weight loss. We should keep this in our diet in winter. And 

Ingredients:

  1. ½ cup peanuts
  2. ½ cup sesame
  3. 2 tbsp almonds
  4. 2 tbsp pistachios
  5. 2 tbsp sunflower seeds
  6. 2 tbsp pumpkin seeds
  7. ½ cup dry coconut (grated)
  8. 2 anjeer (chopped)
  9. 2 dates (chopped)
  10. ¼ tsp cardamom powder
  11. 1½ cup jaggery
  12. ¼ cup water

Preparation

Step 1:

Firstly, in a pan take 1/2 cup peanuts, and roast on low flame until it's trun crunchy and golden color then wait for few minutes until it's be cool and than make coarse powder. Transfer it into a bowl and keep aside.

Step 2:

Now roast 1/2 cup sesame, You can use black or white. roast it until turns aromatic and starts to pop out. cool completely, and then blend to a coarse powder. transfer the sesame powder into the same large bowl and keep it aside.

Step 3:

Further take 2 tbsp almonds, 2 tbsp pistachios and roast until they turn crunchy. Also add 2 tbsp sunflower seeds, 2 tbsp pumpkin seeds and roast well. cool completely, and blend to a coarse powder. transfer the nuts powder into the same large bowl and keep it aside.

Step 4

now take ½ cup dry coconut and roast on low flame and make powder and keep in the same bowl. add 2 anjeer, 2 dates, ¼ tsp cardamom powder and mix well. mix until everything is well combined keep aside.

Step 5:

In a large pan take 1½ cup jaggery and ¼ cup water. stir and boil until the jaggery syrup attains 1 string consistency now add in prepared protein powder mix and mix well. Combine well making sure everything is well combined. the mixture will start to thickens after a minute. transfer the mixture to a large plate. allow to cool slightly, this helps to hold the shape.
